LVMH, Group Omnichannel Direction
Managed the Product Content & Discovery program at LVMH Group level, across some 30 Maisons
Within the Group's Omnichannel Direction, 8 months as Program Manager for product data and product discovery: PIM, DAM, feed management, and the online product experience, serving a community of more than 360 members across the Maisons.

The Problem
The Group recommends, it never imposes. Each Maison has its own IT, its own budget, its own priorities, and some keep their door closed. Everything runs on influence: guidelines, playbooks, introductions, and community animation.
The Program Manager seat had just been vacated, with a yearly roadmap to build, two playbooks in production, and about 30 Maisons to keep following without disruption.
Our Solution
The mission combined takeover, yearly framing, hands-on production, and transmission:
- Takeover and immersion: a structured handover document (organization, governance bodies, status by Maison), a weekly rhythm set with the digital and IT counterparts, and ongoing PIM assessments resumed without interruption.
- Yearly framing: an action plan and macro-roadmap built on 4 priorities. Animate the community every quarter, support the Maisons on their PIM, DAM, and feed management projects, deliver playbooks on key product experience topics, and follow the Re-enchant Product Discovery POCs.
- Production and animation: playbooks produced hands-on (interviews with the Maisons, a Group-level workshop, benchmarks, a dozen iterated versions before each final), quarterly community sessions, a continuously updated Maison-by-Maison follow-up, and partner introductions with immediate value.
- Transmission: referentials updated and a written handover produced at the same level of formalization as the one received on arrival.
Results
- About 30 Maisons and entities followed on their PIM, DAM, and feed management projects.
- 7 community meetings organized for a community of more than 360 members (digital, merchandising, IT, supply).
- 2 playbooks delivered and distributed to the Maisons (Product Zoom, Sizing & Fitting), 2 more launched (3D, Content Quality).
- 3 Re-enchant Product Discovery POCs launched in the Maisons.
- The PIM pre-project of the Group's largest Maison engaged, with business, IT, and supply aligned in the same room.
Key takeaway. In a federated group, influence replaces authority. What worked: concrete, usable deliverables, introductions with immediate value, and one-to-one follow-ups between community sessions, which produced more real progress than the sessions themselves. Producing the content personally (interviews, benchmarks, writing) gave the coordination role a legitimacy a pure coordinator would never have had.
The honest points: a few Maisons stayed out of reach despite escalation, and playbook adoption was distributed but never measured.
